MOQ exists because the mold is the main fixed cost. Typical MOQs for custom PVC keychains range from 500 to 1,000 pieces per design, but many factories offer flexible options for first orders — for example, a slightly higher unit price at a lower quantity. If you are testing the market, ask about a small-batch first order or a sample order before committing.
Sample / 3D preview: 3–7 days after artwork approval.
Mold making: 7–15 days depending on design complexity.
Mass production: 10–20 days for typical orders.
Shipping: 3–7 days express, 15–35 days sea freight, depending on destination.
Plan backward from your launch date. For holiday seasons, order 6–10 weeks in advance — factories get busy and freight gets slower in Q3–Q4.
Mold fee: one-time cost per design, based on size and complexity.
Unit price: falls as quantity rises; ask for a tiered price list (e.g., 1,000 / 3,000 / 5,000 pcs).
